And so as I once again leaf through the crisp white pages of my fabric-black hand-written journal, the fleeting moments that reminds me how much poignance I possess in my soul. Yes this simple boy that dreams of a crazy and beautiful love (of a lifetime and no lesser) is not so lucky to find.
But alas, I know that what Allah has planned for me is much more greater than I can fathom.

There I was at the funeral, my mind drifting to the times when I thought that Life was about living to the extreme doing whatever my mind set out to do. And then I remember the life in which my uncle led, what he did and how people define him. Alas, I came to a conclusion. Life should not be wasted on doing meaningless things but in fact about how you interact with others and the lasting impressions you leave behind. I do not wish to be remembered as someone evil, useless or not to be remembered at all when I pass away. Instead I want to be remembered as someone with a good heart, someone useful, a good friend and most importantly a good Son and a good Muslim.

Yes this simple boy is turning out to be quite the web of complexities you all conjure up in the chambers of your mind.
